Department of Psychology | University of Saskatchewan

The goal of the Stress and Wellness Research Lab (SWeRL) is to understand how various types of stress impact people’s lives, and how we can best alleviate that impact.

Right now, our research is focused on 2 specific research questions:

1. How are parenting practices impacted when a child experiences interpersonal trauma?
2. How best can professional programs for health care trainees encourage and foster self-care among students?

The SWeRL is run by Dr. Jorden Cummings, an Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology.

The lab’s full website is coming soon. Feel free to get in touch with us in the meantime using the contact information below.
